Theresa Grahame

Chief Executive Officer

Theresa's started her career as an ICU Nurse (cardio-thoracic) practicing in Australia and Overseas. Then became a praciticing Solicitor (now retired) with Queensland Health and private law firms.  

Core competencies comprise healthcare, contract, commercial and migration.  

With Mark founded Able Medico and KnowMedical.  

Primary roles:

Quality assurance and compliance. Leads AHPRA and Medicare tasks. Supports pre-AHPRA. Checks EVERYTHING prior to lodgement for medical licencing and migration.

Managing Partner

Background in holding executive positions in management of businesses.  

In healthcare led teams for a private Radiology practice ($32m) and also a Corporate practice ($160m+).  

With Theresa founded Able Medico and KnowMedical.  

Primary roles: 

Overall Strategic direction. Leads pre-AHPRA tasks. Supports Theresa with AHPRA and Medicare; and Victoria with Migration as needed.

 Victoria Lenton

Migration Lawyer 

Victoria started her career as a public servant, working for the Department of Home Affairs for 13 years, including 7 years on diplomatic postings in Chile and South Africa. She left the Department in 2016 to become an immigration lawyer, and is now one of only five Accredited Specialists in Immigration Law in Queensland.  

This unique background means Victoria has the highest level of technical expertise in relation to immigration law matters, allowing her to obtain successful outcomes in the most complex and difficult of immigration law matters. 

Victoria runs a separate law practice providing full-service immigration and citizenship legal services across a broad range of matters at Lenton Migration Law. 

She is also the Deputy Chair of the Queensland Law Society’s Migration Law Committee, a Member of the Australian Law Council’s Migration Law Committee, and regularly trains other migration lawyers and agents through the Migration Institute of Australia. 

Primary roles:

Manages all migration legal matters.

Able Medico commenced in 2014 and focused on providing medical licencing and migration support to Doctors and Practices alike. 

We commenced with Radiologists and then expanded into supporting IVF, then Ophthalmology, Pain Medicine, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Nuclear Medicine, Neurologists, Pathology, Surgery and much more. 

Oddly we love what we do!

KnowMedical was a natural expansion for Able Medico. 

The focus is packaging our knowledge and sharing that with Doctors via an education platform. 

We cater for:

• Doctors Exploring Opportunities and need help getting through the various processes and securing employment; AND
• Doctors already in Australia needing ongoing support. 

KnowPractices is yet another natural expansion for Able Medico. 

The focus is on upskilling practice teams in various aspects of medical licencing. And providing optional support as needed. 

KnowPractices is accessed via an annual subscription covering as many practice team members as needed.
